The kids had lovely desks made by our friend, Clinton. They love them and Callyn has been sitting at his for most of the day when we were at home!

Face Paint

I let the kids go wild with face paint yesterday and Callyn spent ages decorating his sister! He also decorated Donovan's face - sorry no pic!

I did the whiskers but he did the rest!

Donovan painted their butts! It is really hot here now - well over 30 degrees - so we are having this problem of the kids stripping every day!

Silkworm season - we have hundreds of these little wriggly worms and Callyn insists on playing with them. This one "needed to watch TV" with him! Apparently they also like to play lego!

The Charging Tortoise!

When we brought Roxy home and took her into the garden, the big tortoise came out and started charging her!

He actually ran into her and pushed and shoved....

and she got such a fright, she jumped onto Callyn's lap!

Our New Baby!

Meet Roxy, our new baby! Amber is now 13 years old and really, really old and frail so we got Chucky a new playmate for when Amber goes to doggy heaven!

Roxy is 2 months old and we got her an hour ago! She has already settled in and the other dogs have sniffed her out and accepted her!

But she is a bit tired and just wants to lie as close to Callyn as she can get!

I hope they'll become good friends!

Hats and Things

Jordy loves to dress up and when I was tidying her cupboard the other day she found her hats and tried them on!

Ada, the little one in red, turned 3 on Tuesday, and the kids stripped when they saw this lovely pool and hopped in!
