Kindermusic

Today Callyn had Kindermusic with Aunty Alice! Jordy thinks she is 4 so she joins in but her class is actually on Friday!

The theme this term is In the City so we all had to bring a building today so we could make a city!

They are pretending to drive cars here.

Meggie is on Callyn's right - his best friend. And Cara is on the extreme right in front with a pony in her hair. Her mom (Carina) used to teach at my school.

A real girly!

This morning, Jordy asked me to straighten her hair!!!!

So I did and she loved it!

It appears so much longer....

....all the way down her back!

FINALLY!

This is what I almost stepped on this morning in the dark kitchen when I got up.......

......luckily something told me to switch on the light! I have been hunting this rat for 2 weeks. I first heard it in the roof, then in my cupboard amongst my books, then next to my bed. I then saw it in the kitchen and again in my office when it made for a dash for the piano! I put down poison blocks and eventually he.........died - sorry rat, but you were not welcome in my house!

A Day in the life....

Bath time is fun in Mommy's bath! (They love the jets!)

Jordy had a bit of a cold so I gave her some corryx which knocked her out at 8am! I wondered why it suddenly got so quiet and when I checked for her, this is what I found! I moved her onto the couch as the tiles were so cold and hard!

Jordy loves her jersey and beanie that granny made for her!

Hockey!

Callyn found an old hockey stick of mine the other day and picked it up and held it just like a hockey stick should be held! He said, "What's this thing?" So I explained and he seemed rather interested so I bought him a little stick today. Well, I am shocked! This little 4 year old looks like he's been playing hockey for years! After our first practice session in the garden today, he ended up flicking the ball over the cones! He enjoys the tackling the best!

I think being pretty ambidextrous helps a lot. He uses his left hand when hitting a ball with a bat, kicks left foot and writes with his write hand - confused or talented??!!!

Guess I'm going to have to get fit to keep up with him!

Aunty Pam and Aunty Alta, please come and visit and play hockey with me!

Chilly weather!

Finally got Callyn to wear a beanie today. He usually asks from about 6am to ride his bike outside and the temps are now zero and below at that hour. I try to stall the riding until a bit later in the morning but it is still jolly cold!

He is riding so well without his balance wheels but the bike is getting a bit small and probably won't last too much longer if he carries on riding over rocks and things!

What a champ!

Stocked up on Big his and Little his winter undies today! Both boys love their new comfie and warm jocks!

The One and Only.....Jordy!

These were Callyn's pj's and Jordy just loves the giraffe hat!

On the toilet with "baba"! (What a star - no more nappies, only for sleep time!)

Pretty princess!

Jordy told me she was going shopping! She did all this dressing up on her own!
