This is especially for the Engelke's in NZ!

I baked Jordy a very simple cake. She wanted a dolly cake so I put 2 of her new Polly Pockets on top of the cake and decorated the rest with sweets!

Jordy is 3!

A big hug from her big brother! Daddy tried to grab a few more minutes of shut eye!

Callyn helped open the presents!

New dolly and daddy still asleep!

Jordy and Callyn love the Polly Pocket car!

Jordy wore her fairy outfit that Natalie gave her a few years ago -she wore it all day!

My beautiful princess!

This is "Jordy". Real jordy insists on calling her new doll Jordy or Dolly! We got out a whole lot of Jordy's baby clothes for the new doll! It wears 0- 3 months clothes!

Mc Donalds!

Jordy decided that she wanted a small party at Mc Donalds! I was relieved as I didn't have to bake or worry about cleaning up afterwards!

Jordy was given a birthday cake and each child got a burger, chips, cooldrink, hat, toy, balloon and goodie bag!

A very happy little girl!

Callyn took this photo of his "little girly" and his very old looking mommy! Eeek, guess who needs botox!

Jordy just couldn't wait to taste the icing!

A very serious face - the attention on her was a bit too much for her to handle in her usual cheerful way!

The sandpit continues to be a big hit, especially if water is involved!

Jordy on the phone to Nanna!

A quick taste of the icing!

During the afternoon I noticed that Butle had arrived and joined in the fun! Megs and Sintiche came to play and so did Daniel!

Jordy still didn't want to blow out her candles even though it was just Monique, Callyn, Megs, Daniel and Sintiche!

They all needed to clean off in the pool!

This was Jordy's open day at ballet - sorry, not much to see as she had a bit of stage fright!

This afternoon we went to the Pattersons and had a delicious dinner cooked by Matthew! The younger kiddies (Sharlene, Vicky -Lee, Callyn, Cole and Jordy) played so nicely and ended with a game of Lions. They roared like lions for ages and probably woke up anybody who had gone to bed early!

Jan - Hendrik's Party

Both Callyn and Jordy were invited to a party at the mini steam trains today! Jan Hendrik's birthday is also on the 30th March like Jordy and he also turns 3!

Callyn was so brave and rode without me! One of his best friends is Daniel - the one behind him on the train.

Sadly, Daniel is moving to Australia in July.

Jordy wanted to ride with her Daddy!

Ballet Today

Before we left we took a few pics....

this is just before the class in the studio...

They all have special places where they have to stand. There are pictures taped to the floor and each child has a specific picture.

Jordy is in front because she is the smallest. She was so excited about Donovan, Callyn and I going in to watch her but when she saw all the other mommies and daddies......she froze. She just couldn't answer any questions or do any of the movements. She just stared at us and slowly the lips started wobbling, the eyes went red and filled with tears. I called her over to me and quickly calmed her down but she wouldn't go back again! I think the experience was a bit overwhelming because afterwards the teacher said she always does everything in class and is so confident! But she says she wants to go back to the next class but all the big people must sit outside! I hope she doesn't do this on stage at The Sand Du Plessis Theatre at the end of the year because I will just run onto the stage myself and rescue her!!!!
