We had church at Mizpah Lodge last Sunday and afterwards the children had great fun trying to catch frogs in the pond. Callyn then tried to get the water from the top pond to the bottom pond!

I always take spare clothes when we go to Mizpah!

Callyn loves to "read" books before going to bed! He spends ages paging through his books and when he gets tired he turns off the light and goes to sleep!

Jordy girl!

Jordy made her own miike and stand out of magnetics yesterday! i only realised what she had made when she started talking and singing!

We had visitors last night so the children went to bed very late and didn't really want to go to bed! When I went in later to check on Jordy, I couldn't find her under the duvet or on her bed and when I lifted up the whole duvet I found her sleeping in her pink teddy box! She woke up as I took the pic!

She couldnt get back to sleep but I think she was having a bad dream so Donovan took her to the lounge where she happily fell asleep in Daddy's arms! 12 more sleeps until she is 4!

Tonight.......

....at the theatre......Callyn swallowed his tooth!

We went to see a ballet, The Nutcracker, and during the interval Callyn was rolling on the floor! He got up and told Donovan that his throat was sore. He asked why and Callyn said because he had swallowed his tooth! He's very worried that the tooth mouse won't bring him any money so I had to write a letter and we'll put it in the box tonight!

We ......painted.........

our bodies!

we started off doing some string art and while I was cleaning up and my back was turned, they painted their bodies!

And this paint does not come off easily! They told me they looked sunburnt! I had to fill up the big yellow shell with hot water and bubble bath so that they could scrub off the paint! Little monkeys!

The children had so much fun on the beach! Callyn is boogy boarding so nicely! He also takes Jordy for rides!

Adoptia seminar

We had our Adoptia seminar 2 weeks ago together with the KMD (Kerklike Maatskaplike Dienste) and the pregnancy crisis centre. Donovan was the MC and spoke so well. He is now the chairman of Adoptia!

For one of Jordy and Callyn's subjects, Community Helpers, they learnt about teachers and they had to stick in a  class photo so we got the self timer on my camera to work and..... "voila" .....as Callyn says!
