Graduation

Callyn graduated from Kindermusik today. He has been with Alice for almost 7 years. He started when he was 4 months old!

Alice made the room look so pretty and festive and all the children came in holding candles.

Very serious!

A big cheesy!

Jordy's little boyfriend, Jakey! A few weeks ago he told her he would bring her silkworms and the very next week he bought a box of about a million worms! He's a real cutie pie!

When Callyn went to thank Alice and give her a hug, he broke down in tears and sobbed in my arms for about 10 minutes. He is very sad to leave Aunty Alice.

Posted by PicasaJordy had open day last week and she does the funniest things on these days! I gave her  a long lecture about yawning during ballet and putting her hand in front of her mouth as she has done this before but clearly my instructions fell on deaf ears!

Cape Town

Muizenburg

Callyn usually makes friends within a minute of getting to any place! And gender, age and colour do not matter to him!

Ice Skating - the highlight of Callyn's holiday!

Oh and Mommy also gave it a bash!

The best play area ever!

Posted by PicasaThis play area is at the Cape Garden Centre and is the best play area I have ever seen! It cost R20 each to get in and we could stay the whole day! The restaurant is also lovely and there was so much to that we didn't see the kids for about 2 hours! It's great that there are many indoor play areas and many outdoor ones as well. What a great party venue!

From the mouth of this babe.....

Posted by PicasaA few weeks ago we went to De Brug (a huge army base on the outskirts of Bloem) to watch a car rally. While Donovan was chatting to some friends, the kids and I went exploring in the bush. It looks like a lovely big farm and we found an empty reservoir and inside was a wooden ammunitions box that was empty. We also found empty cartridges and Callyn being such a boy, wanted to take them home so we loaded them into the car! Now yesterday we went to check out a new play area and they had the exact same boxes piled up in the shop. Jordy said at the top of her voice, in front of the customers, "We have a box just like that! We STOLE it."

 I was sooooo embarrassed!

Isn't Cape Town beautiful? Robben Island is in the background.
