He did it!

Callyn is never keen to colour in or draw so I have never pushed him. Today Jordy was drawing on the white board so he wanted to as well. I told him I would draw a face and he could fill in the rest but he told me he would do it himself! I did not help him one bit and this is what he came up with! I was so excited and proud of him because he has NEVER drawn a picture before - he has always just scribbled. SO it just shows me once again that he does things in his own time!

A fun day outside

Callyn took both tortoises for rides in the wheelbarrow today!

Callyn decided to try on most of our shoes the other day because they are lying about in the spare room while our bathroom is being renivated - we had to move out of our bedroom!

The Big Slide

This slide is a really big slide but Callyn scoots up in no time!

Jordy wanted to go too so Donovan climbed behind her in case she fell.

Callyn actually jumps off the edge to make himself go faster!

Arts Festival

Today we went to the annual Arts Festival at the university for the third time! We had such fun and the kids rode the camel again today.

Winter

It was freezing on Sunday but I let the kids play outside for an hour. I dressed Jordy in Callyn's old jacket as I knew she would get dirty!

Wait for me......! Jordy now climbs up the ladder and the steep slats at the back of the jungle gym and then slides down all by herself - little daredevil!

Funny Girl!

After Callyn went to the loo today, Jordy came running to me pulling at her pants and pointing towards the bathroom. So I asked her if she wanted to wee and she nodded! I took off her pants and nappy and sat her on the loo but she wriggled off so I put her on the potty and said "wee, wee" and lo and behold..... she did!!!!!

But she's only 15 months old so I'm not going to start potty training yet.....

But if she asks to go on the potty........I'll help her!

Caitlin's Party

We had a fun time at Caity's party today. We all got dressed up - Callyn chose his own pants because he didn't like the other jeans I got out for him. The one's he has on are for summer and are three quarter pants but he insisted!

Jordy enjoyed parading around in her dress but didn't stay clean for long!

But nothing that a bit of Vanish won't take out!

Jordy ate a marshmallow and got nice and sticky, then went inside and helped herself to pretty sprinkles.

She REALLY enjoyed them!

And even went back for more!
