A Day at the Farm....

On Tuesday Callyn, Jordy and I went to visit the Grants at their farm about 60km from Bloem. Only Noelyn and Michael (4) and Caleb (4months) were on the farm as Colin and the girls were in town as the girls have a maths and science tutor and they also have music and tennis ona Tuesday.

The kids had so much fun playing with the calves....

...and throwing rocks in Shrek's pond....

...and watching the cows being milked! This was the highlight for Callyn. We discovered he is a real farm boy and loves running around examining and touching everything! I couldn't get him away from the milking machines!

It was a lovely, busy day!

Fire Station Party!

Yesterday the kids were invited to a party at the fire station - what fun!

Sunday

Every Sunday I make fried eggs on toast for Donovan and the kids so that they have full tummies for church and don't moan that they are hungry during the service or Sunday School! Theese eggs were paricularly big this morning - this is the biggest bauer pan and the pan was full!

Notice the number he chose - he will hopefully never forget my birthday now! Callyn's birthday is the 2nd of the 12th so it also applies to him!

Our little "House" at the track!

We now have our own stand at the motor cross track. Donovan spent the whole weekend working on it. He put up a fence, took down the old shade cloth......

...put up new shade cloth and replaced some beams at the back.

Callyn had fun hammering anything he could find to hammer!

Our house is in between our two cars. In summer I'm going to take the little blow up pool so that the kids can cool off on the lawn in front - well, it will hopefully be green lawn by summer! I am busy weeding it at the moment and will plant a few more grass seeds in spring.

We found a nice, little slope for the kids and they had such fun riding down and then pushing their bikes back up again!
