It's been 10 years, Mom. I miss you!

GUESS WHO STARTED BALLET TODAY?

When Jordy heard that Meggie was starting ballet, she wanted to start as well! So yesterday we enrolled her and bought the entire kit! She has the smallest of everything! In fact she is the smallest little girl there!

Well today she held Meggie's hand and walked up the stairs into the studio -never even looking back to say goodbye! After the half hour class she came out and was full of smiles! I never thought my little girl would do ballet but it's soooo sweet. There is a big concert at the end of the year at the Sand Theatre so grannies and grandpas and aunties and uncles, watch this space for the date as this is quite a big event!!!!!

I thought it would take a while to do Jordy and Meggie's hair but it wasn't that difficult. The gel was amazing and stuck everything in place. Jordy's pins were too big for her little bun so I cut them shorter!

The other day I asked Jordy to pack the toilet paper into the cupboard for me - I was busy in the kitchen. She was gone for quite a long time and then I heard her and Callyn playing happily. Shrieks of laughter, giggles and lots of running around and talking! I was so happy that they were playing nicely. My curiosity got the better of me and I decided to take a peek to see what was making them so happy. I came across 2 happy kids and 9 rolls of double ply toilet paper all over my room!

I tried to be really angry but it was actually so funny that I burst out laughing! They didn't get a smack this time but they had to clean up the mess and every little scrap of paper was collected and saved for their bums!

First sleepover....

These two hooligans asked to sleep over at Meggie's tonight! We packed their bags this morning and I dropped them off at 5pm. It is now almost 10pm and the girls are asleep but Callyn woke up and is building lego until Ansie and Dieter go to bed! I'm waiting for the call to go and fetch him - I don't think he'll make it! So watch this space for an update.......

...........he's home! I got the sms at 10:30pm that he wants to come home. There were no tears though! I went to fetch him and we have just got in and Callyn is watching TV with Donovan. I'll try to put him to bed now! I hope Jordy is ok without "Calla"!

Water Babies

Today I got another grey hair! Jordy swam into the middle of the pool and I thought she would not be able to make it back to the side so I grabbed my cell phone out my pocket and prepared to jump in but she just took a big breath, turned around and swam back!

So I then managed to video her doing the same thing but across the pool!

Callyn has lost so much weight since Friday!

I tried to get him to eat a bit today as he has no energy. I think he's on the mend but his tummy is now so fragile and he can't get much in!
