There is a lot of static electricity in the air!
I came outside looking to see what the monkeys were up to and found a bit of teamwork in progress!
Happy chappie!

Jordy's room
We changed Jordy's room around last week as her head was up against the wall near the window. I only realsied how cold it was when she cried the other night and I lay next to her for a bit. She has had a runny nose for 2 weeks and the day after I changed her room around, her nose cleared up!

Dr Van Schalkwyk, the Urologist!
Dieter completed his exams last week and is now a urologist! So we all celebrated yesterday at a game farm called Bagamoya just outside Bloem. It was a lovely evening with a great spit braai and yummy food!
Little Chris eyeing out the apple in the schnapps!
.....And he tried to grab it!
Beautiful children! Callyn seems to have a secret admirer, Rachael!

Lovely big play area!
A beautiful Free State sunset!
A quick last game of soccer or rugby!

All kitted up!
Callyn wore his kit for the first time this weekend -he has padded pants and a shirt. He has worn the chest protector and helmet for some time now! At least his clothes won't get ruined anymore!
He is not riding alone yet but nags Donovan all the time to take him on the 50 track.
They did many, many laps this weekend!
He even accelerated himself in the last round today! He was very proud of himself. Jordy and I took the little quad and watched him. I also went with both kids on a flat track next to the moto X track and we even had a bit of a Biology lesson out there! We found all sorts of weeds and seeds and discussed seed dispersal! We even found a dead animal - looked like a huge rat.

Biker Boy! We got Callyn some kit to wear at the track so as not to ruin his everyday clothes!
Tonight I quickly popped out to drop off something at friends. I was only gone for about 10 minutes and Jordy was waiting for me in the lounge so I could out her to bed but she fell asleep before I got home!
Where better to fall asleep than on Daddy's head!

Saturday
Clearly our company leaves a lot to be desired!
We braaied today with Ansie and Dieter and the kiddies!
Jordy wanted her hair straightened today!
When my mom passed away and I packed up her house, I found a few tracksuits that had been completed except for the elastic which was held in place with a pin. I thought maybe they were for Abby and Joel but they were too big at the time. So I packed them up and found them a couple of years ago. I fitted the pants, sewed the elastic and now Jordy has a few tracksuits from her Granny she unfortunately never met. Very special!

Jordy wanted to get muddy and it was a bit chilly yesterday so I put her in Callyn's old overalls and she was so impressed!
Daniel came to play and the boys had great fun making dams and rivers.
Today we did a bit of drawing on the big white board. Callyn is not very keen on drawing!
The top blue picture is of our family. Jordy and I are the smallest!!! Of course, Daddy is the biggest even though I am taller in real life! The bottom blue picture is Callyn. I persuaded him to draw a tummy instead of just a straight line! After I had taken the photo I noticed that Jordy had also tried to draw people and even a few faces!

Jordy
Jordy rode her very first cycle race on Saturday at Meggie's school's fun day. She also did incredibly well - had a wipeout going down a hill but wasn't hurt so Ansie and I picked her up and put her back on her bike and off she went!
Ansie looked after Jordy while I ran ahead to take some pics. We were exhausted at the end as we ran the whole way!
