Another strange place to fall asleep in the middle of the day!!!! Callyn wanted to listen to his CD from Kindermusic so I put it into the computer and he was listening and watching the screen which had a screen saver with weird shapes and movements and when I looked again he was asleep!

Callyn and Jordy had a wonderful time in the rain water that had collected on top of the pool cover!

Dirty Children!

Donovan washed his bike outside and afterwards Callyn played in the dirty water! What a job to get that oil and grease off him!

But he had such fun!

Jordy mixed a bit of porridge with sand today and she also had a lot of fun!

OOoh Callyn!!!!

Today was the day that Jordy officially walked! She has been taking a few steps for over a month now but today she got up by herself and walked 5 to 6 steps! She did this a number of times and thought she was hysterical!

She also clapped for the first time today! We were watching Callyn riding his bicycle outside and she copied me when I clapped for him! She has been waving for a couple of weeks as well!

After the playroom he insisted on moving up to Jordy's room!

First Pizza

Jordy had her first pizza today and loved every mouthful - especially the mushrooms! Luckily no sign of any reactions to the ingredients!

Callyn was actually the one who asked for pizza for lunch. One would think that he would eat pizza on a regular basis but actually he is a bit deprived and pizza is such a treat!

Jordy fell asleep in such a funny position today and remained like that for 1 and a half hours!

An early start!

Torty got a friend for a few weeks! We are babysitting the smaller tortoise, Timmy, and Torty had great fun chasing it around the garden!

Callyn decided he wahted to paint again (third time this week) so we went inside to change out of our PJ's into old T shirts! This was Jordy's first painting experience!

She initially decided that it would be a good idea to taste the paint ....

....but soon realised that this was a BIG mistake!

Mini Bath Time!

When Jordy went down for her nap at 7:30, Callyn and I went outside to paint. He had so much fun but got really dirty so I let him play in the sink for quite a while!

He loves playing with jugs and little containers and amused himself for ages!

He was a whole lot cleaner after about half and hour!

Busy Girl!

Jordy did a lot of standing on her own this weekend and here she is with Torty. She even licked his head earlier - yuck!

Callyn did some jumping off the chairs onto the grass but look at that little monkey in the background. She climbed up there all by herself!

Today Jordy just stood .....

and stood and laughed and stood and laughed .....

Jordy really likes to climb up onto things especially her walker!

We bought a new bed today so Callyn got our old queen size bed! He is so impressed with his "huge" bed, as he calls it and couldn't wait to go to bed tonight! The mozzies are out in full force so we out up the nets as well!

"Daddy's Monsterness" is Donovan's name for Callyn and Callyn loves telling everyone this! And now you can see why he got this nickname!

Callyn took Jordy for a half hour spin on his trike! She just loves loves it and yells for him when she sees him on it. She calls him "ca ca ca ca....."!
