The tide was low, perfect for Callyn.

Jordy loved the water - her first time in the sea!

The sand was lovely too!

Callyn wanted to know where the Creepy Crawly was! I had to explain that the sea was not a swimming pool!

Callyn doesn't really seem to mind where he sleeps!!!!

Good Friends!

One morning, Callyn decided that Jordy needed to sleep in his bed so he closed all the curtains, lifted her up onto his bed, fetched her dummy and blankie and told me Jordy must "Sleep tight"! He lay next to her and covered her up, popped the dummy in and told her to lie still and sleep! Of course she thought this was a game and laughed at him!!!!

Callyn loves taking Jordy for rides but I am not allowed to hold her anymore. I hover behind to catch her if there is a problem but so far, strangely enough, she hasn't fallen out!

Off they go through the pool room.....

And almost out of the back door!

Our week

Callyn received a lovely tent set for his birthday fromMeggie (Back pack, tent, binoculars, water bottle and sleeping bag). We set it up for him and he decided that ALL of his toys and books in the playroom should be in the tent - and I mean it when I say all the toys! Of course I had to clean it up the next day but Jordy helped a bit!

Jordy got an early Christmas present from Cara so we had to wear it in!

Callyn loves playing Letterland on the computer and luckily for me he can use the mouse so he can amuse himself! (Naked again - but he has been wearing undies for over a week now and doing really well! This potty training thing has been the most challenging part of raising a child so far!)

Callyn opened his present from us when we got home - a Magnetix Roller Coaster!

After a very busy day, he fell asleep on the drain cover!

Yes, he actually just passed out!

Now how comfortable can that be!

Then on Sunday it was time to celebrate his birthday with a little ice cream cone - he doesn't like cake!

Maselspoort

On Saturday we went caraving at Maselspoort because Donovan was riding in a 24 hour mountain bike race.

Callyn made friends quickly (by sharing his packet of sweets with the all the kids in the pool!) and spent hours paddling about in this kiddies pool.

He even got his hair wet!

Zade was camping next to us and they made friends very quickly. Callyn showed him how to do his alphabet puzzle and even let him ride his bicycle - but not his Barney Bike!

Callyn is going through a phase where he likes to dress up! Today it was the cap and goggles. The other day it was my hi heel sandles and that's all - nothing else!) It looked hysterical, but we couldn't get the camera in time!
