Last weekend we went to Smithfield for their annual Bibberfees which included a few mountain bike rides. We got there on Saturday morning at 7:20am and when we arrived it was minus 4 degrees. It was really freezing and everything was covered in frost! We stayed in a lovely guest house belonging to a friend of ours but it was freezing inside. We had a lovely big room with a high ceiling. it was really cosy but just too cold! We had a lovely time and had a great meal out at a restaurant on Saturday night. Smithfield is a very small town and i don't think there are more than a few hundred people living there but it is really quaint!
I love the way the frost clung to everything!

Sunset - The kids found a friend and they went exploring in the long grass. The sun was starting to set and the surrounding area looked so beautiful.

Fun times
Callyn loves dancing to House Praise and plays it so loudly that I can't hear myself think!
A quieter moment.
Hugs and cuddles!
A bit of chit chat.

RAINY DAYS!
We have had really cold, wet and miserable weather the last few days so we have hung out in the warm playroom quite a lot. We did quite a few of our puzzles. I was surprised how well Callyn did when I was busy helping Jordy!
Camerman Callyn again!
This afternoon they were desperate to play outside and of course they got muddy and a bit cold. (I was freezing and watched them through the window!) They ended up bathing at 3:45 and having supper at 4:30! To get them to bath I bribed them with sprinkles. We only had red and yellow left hence the colour!
Looks like a bit of a blood bath!

A muddy afternoon!
We had so much rain last night and thunderstorms so there were a few puddles today! The kids asked if they could get into old clothes and get dirty!
A mud beard!
They had an early bath and a good scrub as well as a hair wash!

Waitng for Liza in the tub - they wanted to give her a fright!
Jordy got hold of some lipstick!

No jokes!
Yes, Callyn fell asleep in the bath tonight!
Luckily Donovan was in the bath with him and called me to take these pics! He has fallen asleep in many strange places but this one is the best!
We had to wake him up because we were afraid he would breathe in water!

For Russ
The long awaited photos of Donovan's lego! He bought another Ferrari in East London this week and built it today.
They have many moving parts....
...even the steering wheel.....
....and the doors and bonnet.

New Bike
Chad gave Callyn his old bike and Callyn amazed us by riding it beautifully the first time!
He needs help getting on as he is too short for the bike....
....and he needs help getting off or he just crashes down, but otherwise he is ramping pavements and rocks! (He calls it going offroad like Daddy)
The difference in size between his old and new bike! Thanks Chad, for giving Callyn your bike! He really loves it!
