The Remarkables

We took a drive up the mountain opposite Russ and Ruth's house. We stopped a few times on the way up to look down at the view. donovan was fascinated by the huge aeroplanes coming in to land (BELOW HIM!) at Queenstown's International airport!

We found some hard snow at the ski resort and Calltn dug around in it for ages. there was a stream running under the snow and we threw rocks at the ice to break it up and open up the stream! Russ and Ruth built a snowwoman! pics to follow!

We had a picnic of chip rolls up there!
