July

My kind and considerate little girl made me a very special vegetarian meal as she knows I don't eat meat - thats my food in the red bowl!

We are working on a lapbook (project) for the Olympics! Its a team effort and they have both been working hard and learning a lot about the history ofthe Olympics. They are excited for it to start today!

My little defroster of freezers - he helps me everytime, in fact he does it all himself!

They had fun playing with the ice afterwards and the lego boat!

Remember these? These must be over 40 years old!

A kiddies Jenga game!

Working a bit more on the lapbook!

Callyn, Jordy and I are working on a project for the kiddies at Tshepang Place of Safety. There are 11 children there at the moment and we visit them regularly. Callyn loves playing with the boys and it is always difficult to leave. Last time we were there one of the boys didn't have winter shoes so Callyn gave him his takkies. He was quite happy to go home bare foot. We have made money tins for each kid and my generous friends have taken on or two tins each and they will fill them with their change! By the end of the year they will buy their "child" a lovely Christmas present. I will get a wish list from the lady who cares for them so that they each get something they really want!

  1. Kerry, what a wonderful idea! It is acts of love like this that makes the world a better place, especially for little kids like these. It is also great that Callyn and Jordy are so involved. May the Lord continue to bless this endeavour, and all of you who are involved.
